We need to stop being surprised by the actions of the Trump administration. They told us in Project 2025 what they will do. They told us in their national security document that they want to militarily and economically dominate the Western hemisphere. They told us they were going to dismantle the Department of Education, substitute “real” expertise for the “phony” expertise of Dr. Fauci, make government more “efficient,” and shut down all immigration. They told us they were going to do this and they did it.
The real surprise is how many Democrats have not woken up to the reality of a failed democracy run by the worst elements of society. Strongly worded letters don’t work when your enemy is illiterate. Providing proof of hypocrisy does not work when your enemy has no moral core. Anxiously awaiting the outcome of the next election cycle will not work when the enemy has shown that by any means necessary, including violence, they will try to overturn an election.
What the Democrats should do is travel around the country and hold rallies to educate the people as to what is going on. Democrats need to be at anti-ICE demonstrations. Democrats should be holding their own hearings on Epstein, on the shameless corruption of the Trump family, and on many other subjects. They can do this through Instagram Live, Substack Live, YouTube Live, and so on. The people are ready for real, honest, sincere leadership. The people want to know what is really going on in their country. The people are ready to fight. Unfortunately, their Democratic leaders are not.
